Mysuru:  To commemorate Indira Gandhi Divas and birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Mysuru District Rural Congress Labour Division has organised a District Labour Conference tomorrow at 2 pm at the Congress Bhavan near Railway Station.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, the Division President Mavinahalli C. Ravi said that Rajya Sabha Member Rajeev  Gowda would inaugurate the programme. He said that fruits would be distributed at 1 pm to inmates of Little Sisters of the Poor, Home for the Aged, in Gandhinagar and registration of labourers employed in unorganised sector will be done to help them avail government benefits. A meeting of the State Labour Committee will be held at 11.30 am.

Death anniversary

The 34th death anniversary of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi will be observed by the City Congress at Congress Bhavan, near City Railway Station, at 10.30 am tomorrow (Oct.31). NR Constituency MLA Tanveer Sait will inaugurate the programme. MLAs Vasu and M.K. Somashekar will be the chief guests. City Congress President R. Murthy will preside.
