Kodava Samaja Cultural and Sports Club in association with Mysore District Badminton Association will be conducting a three-day District-level Badminton Tournament from Apr. 14 at the Club’s premises in Vijayanagar.

Addressing the presspersons at the Pathrakarthara Bhavan yesterday, Kodava Samaja President M.K. Kuttappa said that the tournament would be inaugurated by DC D. Randeep at 9.30 am.

Star of Mysore Managing Editor Vikram Muthanna, Mysore District Badminton Association Hon. President Rajashekara Koti, Department of Physical Education, UoM, In-charge Director Dr. P. Krishnaiah, Karnataka State Badminton Association Vice President S.G. Prabhu will be the guests of honour. Kodava Samaja Cultural and Sports Club President M.P. Nanaiah will preside, he added.

Around 150 players from Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar are expected to participate in the tournament. The last date for registration is Apr. 12.
