District-level Badminton Tournament: Kishal, Yukta declared best players

Kishal Ganapathy and Yukta Mohan were declared as the ‘Best Players’ at the three-day District Level Badminton Tournament organised Kodava Samaja Cultural and Sports Club in association with Mysore District Badminton Association (MDBA) held at Kodava Samaja in  Vijayanagar yesterday.

The prizes to the winners were given away by MP Pratap Simha. Speaking on the occasion, he said sports was as important as education and urged the parents to encourage their children take up sports.

Later, the organisers felicitated shuttler Hima Kaverappa and throwball player Bindu Nanjappa on the occasion.
