Mysuru: Marking Children’s Day and Kannada Rajyotsava, a district-level ‘Bala Sambhrama’ contest has been organised by Virvidha Dance and Martial Arts Academy at its premises in Saraswathipuram here on Nov. 19.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here on Thursday, Academy Chairman and Corporator Snake Shyam said that the contest for children in the age group of 3 to 8 years include Cute Baby, Healthy Baby and Fancy Baby contest. For children in the age group of 6 to 8 years included are Prince of Mysore, Princess of Mysore and Super Talent contest.

Academy Director Vinod Karkera said that the contest would be held from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and winners would get attractive cash prizes, gift vouchers, certificates and CDs on snakes.

On the occasion, Shyam will give a power point presentation on snakes followed by entertainment programme by Junior Dancing Star Prajwal and Drama Juniors fame Mahendra Prasad.
