District Minister inspects Mysugar factory at Mandya

Holds meeting with officials

Mandya – District in-Charge Minister M. Krishnappa visited Mysugar factory here on  Wednesday and took stock of the situation. Addressing a meeting of officials later, Krishnappa opined that the closed factory should re-open at the earliest as many employees and farmers were depending on the factory.

He asked all officials concerned to take steps to re-open the factory on Apr. 14 and added that the Government was ready to provide needed Co-operation.

He further asked the officials to restore the basic infrastructure of the factory like water and electricity and repainting the  factory premises.

Factory MD Prakash, Deputy Commissioner S. Ziyaullah, Mandya Urban Development Authority Commissioner Devaraj, factory Manager Boregowda and others attended the meeting.
