Mysuru: District Minister V. Somanna inaugurated his office on the first floor of MUDA Office building on JLB Road here this morning.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the public can visit his office during working hours  after Dasara and air their grievances with the office staff.

Later, he also mentioned that the arrangements for world famous Jumboo Savari and Torchlight Parade would be completed on time and added that this year’s Dasara would be a grand success as it was being organised with active participation of leaders from various parties.

He said that he would meet Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, Governor Vajubhai R. Vala and High Court Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka to extend an official invitation for this year’s Dasara festival.

MLA L. Nagendra, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath, State BJP General Secretary M. Rajendra and former Minister M. Shivanna and others were present.
