Mysore/Mysuru: Past President of Rotaract Mysore and Member of Rotary Mysore, PP Rtr. Rtn. R. Prajwal was installed as the 10th District Rotaract Representative (DRR) of Rotaract District 3181 for the Rotary year 2025-26 by District Governor (DG) Rtn. P.K. Ramakrishna at a grand ceremony held at Rotary Mysore School in Dattagalli.

The event commenced with an invocation song and lamp lighting, followed by the launch of an introduction video of DRR.

DG Rtn. Ramakrishna officially installed PP Rtr. Prajwal while District Governor Nominee (DGN) Rtn. Yashaswi Somashekar pinned DRR badge.

District Rotaract Chair Rtn. Shakuntala Elizabeth handed over the baton to incoming DRR.

Present on stage were guest of honour PDRR Rtr. Rtn. Darryl Steven D’Souza, Rtn. Ravishankar, President of Rotary Mysore along with Rtr. Yashwanth, President of Rotaract Mysore.

In his acceptance speech, DRR Rtr. Rtn. Prajwal  shared his vision for the year 2025-26, announcing: A $1,000 contribution to The Rotary Foundation (TRF) from Rotaract 3181; 15 impactful district projects; Launch of the “Each One, Get One” membership growth initiative; A strong push for the “One Rotaractor, One Dollar” campaign towards TRF; Partnership with DG Rtn. Ramki to support the End Polio Now Campaign, marked by distributing End Polio Hundis  to raise funds.

A major highlight was the announcement of the 10th Annual District Conference “Dasha Sambhrama 2026” scheduled to be held in Mysuru on Feb. 28       and Mar. 1, 2026.

On this occasion, the monthly news bulletin “Echoes of Voice” and the District E-Directory were also launched. The ceremony witnessed felicitation to Past District leaders in honour of the District’s 10th anniversary.

Over 200 attendees joined the celebrations, including representatives from Rotaract Districts 3191 and 3192. The event was anchored by Rtr. Akansha Manohara and Nida Fatima of Rotaract Mysore. The meeting concluded with the national anthem.
