Do not use plastic Flags: ADC tells citizens

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) B.S. Manjunathaswamy has stated in a press release that sale of National Flag made of plastic and paper has been banned across the city. The National Flag represents hopes and aspirations of the people of India and hence should occupy a position of honour, he said and urged all citizens, including School and College students, not to use the Tricolour made up of plastic and paper this I-Day. He has also advised merchants and roadside vendors not to sell them.
