Mysuru: Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Committee had organised a ‘Talking Doll’ show at Sri Puttaraj Gawai Stadium in J.P. Nagar    here yesterday to create awareness on voting among people.

Bigg Boss participant and Ventriloquist Suma Rajkumar presented the show with her ‘Taking Doll’ Ricky. Ricky, who had planned to go on an outing on the election day May 12 being a holiday, after realising the importance of Voting, said: “I too will go for Voting.” Ricky also asked the gathering to vote without fail.

Inaugurating the programme, ZP CEO and SVEEP Committee Chairman P. Shivashankar advised voters not to fall prey for any freebies or money and vote with confidence to choose the right leader. He asked the voters to vote at the designated Polling Booth on May 12 any time between 7 am and 6 pm. He added that good facilities have been provided at all Polling Booths.

MCC Additional Commissioner G.M. Ravindra, Zilla Panchayat Deputy Secretary Shivakumara Swamy and others were present.
