Mysore/Mysuru:  An engineer at Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), Mysuru, has donated blood for the record 102 times.

Considering his yeoman service, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute has issued a certificate to Dr. T. Thyagaraj, who has been involved in the noble task of donating blood for the past 36 years. He donates blood at every quarterly period, totalling four times in a year. He has also facilitated blood donation by others, helping 149 needy people.
