Sir,
Kukkarahalli Kere is a walker’s paradise. And I speak for all morning and evening joggers when I say that hundreds of people enjoy the quietness and silence it provides. As do the various flora and fauna that reside in the Lake.
Transforming the lake into a tourist destination with butterfly parks and entry arches eliminates the very serenity that people thoroughly enjoy. De-silting the Lake during summer leads to drying up of the water body. With the scorching sun and the temperatures soaring high, urbanising this beautiful spot is not appreciative.
