Double delight for Jasha

Jasha from Mysuru took part in the S.R. Khan Memorial National Championship Series U-14 held at Topspin Tennis Academy in Bengaluru recently won both singles and doubles title.

In singles, third seed Jasha beat 5th seed Yashaswini Gowda in quarter-finals 7-6(7-2),6-3. In the semi finals she defeated 2nd seed Athmika Chaithanya Sreenivas 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 and in finals she pulled off a well deserved victory 6-1,6-4 victory over top seed Khushi Vishwanath to emerge victorious.

Jasha, also won doubles title partnering with Khushi Vishwanath.

The duo beat Amodini Naik and Jenniffer in straight sets 6-1,6-2.  Jasha, a student of JSS Public School, SJCE campus, is being trained at Nagaraj Tennis Center, Mysuru.
