Mysuru’s men and women handball teams hogged the limelight by winning the men’s and women’s titles respectively in the handball tournament held as a part of State Olympic games yesterday.

In the basketball women’s section, Mysuru’s DYES team secured the third place. In the play-off match for the 3 & 4th place, DYES, Mysuru beat Beagles 61-48. Supriya (26) & Ranjitha (23) played well for Mysuru.

In hockey, DYES (Mysuru) women’s team entered the final and will meet Bellary in the title clash on Thursday.
