Mysore/Mysuru: The research Guides of Dr. A.J. Mahadesh Prasad, who is in the European Task Force for Coronavirus research team, describe him as a dedicated researcher who has involved himself in developing cures for many diseases that are plaguing the humanity.
Speaking to Star of Mysore this morning, Prof. K. Kemparaju of Department of Microbiology, who guided Dr. Mahadesh Prasad in his Ph.D at the University of Mysore said that the latter was a reliable, committed and a Biomedical Scientist who is working for the welfare of the humanity.
“He is an excellent project manager playing an important role in several independent projects resulting in publication in high-impact journals. We are confident that he and his team will develop the vaccine,” he said.
Along with Prof. Kemparaju, Prof. Cletus D’Souza and Prof. Vishwanath taught and guided Dr. Mahadesh Prasad when he was in the University and when he was working as Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, SBRR Mahajana PG Centre.
After submitting his doctoral thesis to University of Mysore in 2009 June, he was invited as a Visiting Researcher by the University of Leipzig, Germany, to investigate the role of clinically important serum enzymes in development of cardiovascular diseases in domestic animals.
