Dr. B.B. Rajpurohit (86), retired Deputy Director of Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away in the wee hours of today.

A retired Professor of Linguistics and Phonetics and an author, he leaves behind daughters Kalpana and Vandana, sons-in-law and grandchildren, who are settled in America and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed by his friends and well-wishers at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam this noon, according to sources.
