The statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar near Town Hall in city was garlanded this morning marking the 132nd birth anniversary of the architect of the Indian Constitution. Seen in the picture are Deputy Commissioner Dr. K.V. Rajendra, City Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth, Superintendent of Police Seema Latkar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) M. Muthuraj, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi, Zilla Panchayat CEO K.M. Gayathri, former Corporator H. Vasu and others. A stage programme  was also organised by the District Administration at the Town Hall premises later where Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner G. Lakshmikantha Reddy  and others offered floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar. None of the people’s representatives or political leaders attended the event as poll code is in force.
