Dr. Bhashyam Swamiji among seven to get Kannadambe Award

Mysuru: Kannadambe Rakshana Vedike in Hootagalli, Mysuru, will be conferring seven achievers with ‘Kannadambe Award’ at a function to be held on Nov. 30 at 4 pm at Santhemala Grounds in Hootagalli.

Those selected for the awards are as follows: Dr. Bhashyam Swamiji (Spirituality), B. Raghavendra & S.B. Devaraju (Media), Kumar (Police), Dr. K.R. Gautham (Medicine), H.C. Manjunath (Pro-Kannada Activism) and Vihika (for entering the International Book of Records).

MLA G.T. Devegowda will be the chief guest for the event. 

Sri Basava Mruthyunjaya Swamiji, District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Sri Arjun Avadhootha Swamiji, MLA Vinay Kulkarni, BJP leader Kaveesh Gowda, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) K. Shivaraju will be present on the occasion, according to a press release.
