The four-day group ‘D’ match between Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) and KSCA President’s XI is interestingly poised with the latter needing 186-runs to win at the JSS-SJCE Grounds here on Friday. At close of play, KSCA President’s XI scored 98 for three in 27 overs.

MPCA resuming at their overnight score of 120 for two in 32 overs, posted a good total of 314 in 90.4 overs.

Inspiring performances with the willow by Gaurav Yadhav 90 (95b, 12×4, 4×6), Mihir Hirwani 48, Rajat Patidar 67 (126b,9×4) and Aryaman Birla 40 (61b,6×4, 1×6), enabled their team to post a good total. Medium-pacer V. Koushik impressed with figures of five for 70 and he was well-supported by Bhavesh Gulechha (four for 82).

KSCA President’s XI in their second essay scored 98 for three in 27 overs at close. Opener Liyan Khan 42 (7×4). Pavan Deshpande (21 n.o.) and K.L. Shrijith (15 n.o.) were at the crease.
