February 13, 2017

Turning the ceremony at Halahalli in Gundlupet taluk  to pay homage to late Minster  H.S. Mahadevaprasad into a platform to launch bypoll campaign, Chief Minister Siddharamaiah yesterday announced that Dr. Geetha Mahadevaprasad, wife of late H.S. Mahadevaprasad would be the Congress candidate for Gundlupet bypolls.

If at all Gundlupet has witnessed development and heading towards further development, it is just because of the relentless efforts of Mahadevaprasad, the CM stressed. Terming late Mahadevaprasad as a model legislator and an able administrator, the CM said that it was not easy to win five elections consecutively as done by the late Minister.
