Dr. K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament: KSCA President’s XI take first innings lead

KSCA President’s XI, well-served by Ritesh Bhatkal 71 (121b, 6×4, 2×6) and Prithviraj 40 (74b, 5×4, 1×6) and their vital 101-run partnership for the ninth-wicket, gained the vital first innings lead of 120-runs against Jharkhand CA on the third day of their Group-D league tie in the Dr. Capt. K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament-2019, played at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds here yesterday.

In another tie at SJCE Grounds, a century by Shoib Mohd. Khan 104 (151b, 13×4, 3×6) and a vital 82-run partnership with D. Swaroop Kumar 27 (83b, 4×4, 1×6), for the eighth wicket, enabled Andhra CA to post a first innings total of 239 in 75.5 overs, and take the first innings lead of 20-runs against Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).
