Dr. N. Kumar (62), Hon. Secretary of Mysore District Parents Association for Empowering Developmentally Disabled (MDPAEDD) and retired Professor of Electronics at National Institute of Engineering (NIE), passed away yesterday (Jan. 31) in city following brief illness.

A resident of Sharadadevinagar, he leaves behind his wife Sasikala Kumar, son Srivatsa and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held in city yesterday evening, according to sources.

MDPAEDD has condoled the death of Dr. Kumar.
