Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Dr. RaGow-80’, a programme to honour former Kannada faculty Dr. Ramegowda (popularly known as Dr.RaGow) marking his 80th birthday, will take place at Rani Bahadur auditorium on Hunsur road here at 5 pm tomorrow.

Prof. V. Rangaswamy of Dr.RaGow Shishyaru-Abhimaanigala Balaga said that the event is organised under the aegis of Karnataka Sangha, Mandya, Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Samvahana Prakashana and the Balaga.

A felicitation volume titled ‘Dr.RaGow-80’ and a book titled ‘Kannada Kavyadalli Aitihaasika Vicharagalu’ will be released by former Chief Minister Dr. M. Veerappa Moily in the presence of Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Adichunchanagiri Seer Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji. Veteran litterateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) will preside. Former MLC K.T. Srikantegowda will deliver the felicitation address.
