Mysore/Mysuru: Marking the birth anniversary of thespian late Dr. Rajkumar, the city’s Ravisanthu Balaga will present  Dr. Rajkumar musical event at  Town Hall in the city at 11 am on May 23, during which Nalwadi Award will also be conferred on achievers from different fields.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Ravisanthu, Founder of the Balaga, said that the musical programme titled ‘Geetha Namana’ will take place from 11 am to 5 pm, during which a number of singers will render songs from Dr. Rajkumar films.

Later, 41 achievers from different fields will be conferred with Nalwadi Award on the occasion.

MLA T.S. Srivatsa, former MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, actor Abhijith and others will be the chief guests, he added.

Balaga members Anubhavi, Sinchana, Ravi, Kiran, Srinivas, Sudhakar, Chandan, Padma and Veena were present at the press meet.
