Dr. S.  Ananda (66), former Professor and Chairman, Department of Chemistry, Manasagangothri and BSR Faculty Fellow, passed away in city yesterday morning. A resident of Bogadi, he leaves behind his wife Dr. Manjula (former Professor of Speech and Hearing), daughter Harshitha, son-in-law Vijaykumar and a host of relatives and friends.  Last rites were held at K.G. Koppal burial grounds yesterday.
