Dr. S.K. Subbegowda (82), a former Psychiatry Department faculty of MMC&RI, passed away here yesterday following brief illness. He also served at Gopala Gowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital post retirement. A resident of Yaraganahalli here and a native of Sollepura village in Kikkeri hobli of K.R.Pet taluk, he leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed yesterday evening at Yaraganahalli burial grounds, according to family sources.
