Mysore/Mysuru: To commemorate the 109th birth anniversary of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji on Aug. 25, Suttur Mutt donated a cheque for Rs.1 lakh to the Executive Director of Mysuru Zoo D. Mahesh Kumar towards the maintenance and feeding of Zoo animals and birds. The cheque was presented by JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary S. Shivakumaraswamy.

Speaking after receiving the cheque, Mahesh Kumar lauded Suttur Mutt for its donation every year on the occasion of Dr. Rajendra Mahaswamiji’s birth anniversary to feed animals and birds and called it as exemplary.
