Dr. Sudhendar Hanumantha Rao passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Sudhendar Hanumantha Rao (58), a Mysurean, who was working as a Dean of IIM, Sambalpur in Orissa, passed away on Feb. 22 at Odisha.

He leaves behind his wife Gayathri, one son and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held on Feb. 23 at Sambalpur in Odisha, according to his close friend K.S. Shankar Prasad of Excelsoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mysuru.

A product of Ramakrishna Vidyashala and NIE, Mysuru, Dr. Sudhendar has penned many articles and book on India’s strategic affairs.

He was also associated with MYRA Mysuru as a Professor for three years and was a Doctoral scholar from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA.

He had written preface to the book ‘Facets of Terrorism in India’ authored by retired Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer late R.N. Kulkarni which was released by the then Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in city on Mar. 6, 2019.
