City-based danseuse Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy will be performing a Bharathanatyam recital titled “Sri Rama Bhaje” at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on Jan. 25 evening. Dr. Vasundhara has been invited by Uttar Pradesh Government and Central Sangeet Natak Academy, to present a dance programme as part of Prana Pratishtana (consecration) of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. She will be presenting the programme with six of her students.

“I will be leaving for Ayodhya on January 24, along with my students Dr. Lakshmirekha Arun, Vibha Diwakar, Mythreyi Gururaj, C. Sujay Shanbhag Deepti Adisesh,  and S.P. Soundarya. We will also have darshan of the deity Sri Ram on Jan. 26,”  Dr. Vasundhara said.
