A collection of poems by Prof. K.S. Nissar Ahmed

Mysuru: Former Chief Minister Dr. M. Veerappa Moily will release the book ‘Seemateetana Sirivanta Suggi,’ a collection of selected poems by Padma Shri, Nadoja Prof. K.S. Nissar Ahmed, at a programme organised at Navajyoti auditorium in JSS Women’s College premises, Saraswathipuram, tomorrow (Sept.20) at 5 pm, under the joint aegis of Talukina Venkannaiah Smaraka Granthamale, Mysuru and Kannada Sahitya Kalakoota, Mysuru.

Prof. K.S. Nissar Ahmed, who will be arriving in city tomorrow afternoon, is scheduled to inaugurate Dasara atop Chamundi Hill on Sept. 21.

Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. Poet Dr. H.S. Venkatesha Murthy and critic Dr. Narahalli Balasubramanya will be the chief guests. Mysuru District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will preside. MLA Vasu, Kalakoota President M. Chandrashekar and Publisher T.S. Chayapathi will be present.

The book, which is priced Rs.300, will be sold at Rs.250  during its launch at the venue.
