Here’s some good news for those who enjoy adorning handloom fabric, in upcoming Monsoon season, as National Silk Expo is being held at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry, Vinoba Road, till June 30.
The expo offers handloom products ranging from designer suits to embroidered silk sarees, and many more. Weavers from all over India are participating in the handloom exposition.
Shoppers can get a feel of crepe sarees, crepe suits, Lucknawichikan dresses, etc. Bhagalpuri & Tassar silk sarees from Bihar, Hand-painted saree, Kantha Work, Baluchari, Jamdani from West Bengal, Ponchampalli and Mangalgiri dress materials from Andhra Pradesh, Banarasi silk sarees and hand-block prints from Rajasthan are also be available at the expo.
Not only this, suits woven in Dharmaveeram style, gold zari bordered sarees and Gadhwalsarees of Andhra Pradesh, Phulkari Work Suit and saree will compel you to buy one for your wardrobe.
The expo is open for visitors from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm till tomorrow (June 30).
