Drishya-Kathana at Suruchi Rangamane: Display of drawings by Anil Kumar Jagaluru

Mysuru: As part of Kalasuruchi’s Drishya-Kathana edition, Anil Kumar Jagaluru’s Pencil Sketch will be exhibited along with the stories around those photos at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar in city tomorrow (Aug. 8) at 6.30 pm.

Smitha Shivaswamy and George Supreeth, Co-Founders of Nabachika Foundation (a non-profit that works in the area of citizen arts), will inaugurate the exhibition which will be open during the entire month of August and September, according to a press release from K. Nagaraja of Kalasuruchi.

Anil Kumar Jagaluru is an Engineer who has worked mainly in Kirloskar Electric, Mysuru and Philips India, Bengaluru. He retired in 2015 and is now a Consultant in the field of Intellectual Property (IP). His interests include drawing and painting watercolours, and writing and translating, among others.

Smitha Shivaswamy is a practicing artist and a Co-Founder of Nabachika Foundation, a non-profit that works in the area of citizen arts. She is a graduate of the College of Fine Art, Bengaluru and a graduate of the IIMB’s 10k women entrepreneurship programme. She works with organisations to include art based methodologies to gather business insights.

George Supreeth is a practicing artist and a Co-Founder of Nabachika Foundation. He is a graduate of the College of Fine Art, Bengaluru and has served as a member of its Board of Studies. He runs Ideasutra.com through which he trains organisations on using visual ways of thinking to solve complex business problems.
