Driving lessons for ST candidates

Mysuru: Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department has invited applications from unemployed ST candidates for training in driving light and heavy motor vehicles. For light vehicles, the candidate should have completed 18 years with a pass in 8th standard and for heavy vehicles the candidate should have completed 21 years and possess light motor vehicle driving licence for the last one year.

The eligible candidates can obtain the application form from the respective Taluk ST Welfare Officer or Assistant Director, Department of Social Welfare and submit the filled-in form with relevant documents before Aug. 15.
