Drum beat protest on Mar.3

March 1, 2018

Mysuru:  Accusing MUDA of stepmotherly treatment in connection with a site allotted to Kuvempunagar’s Ramabai Ambedkar Educational Institute, Dr. Ambedkar Samajwadi Democratic Party will stage a demo by beating drums in front of MUDA office here at 10.30 am on Mar.3. Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, party President C.M. Nagaraj said that the site was allotted to the Institute when Ramakrishna Hegde was the Chief Minister. But the apathy of MUDA officials has delayed physical possession of the site, he said and added that the party was forced to stage the demonstration in protest against the apathy of MUDA officials.

He further said that the party will launch Ambedkar Padayatra at all taluk headquarters of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar by garlanding Dr. Ambedkar statue at Ashokapuram in city on Mar.3.
