‘Drushya Prasthuti’Art Expo tomorrow

Mysuru: As part of World Heritage Day, ‘Drushya Prasthuti,’ an expo of contemporary artworks by artist C.S. Krishna Setty, will be on display at the Archaeology, Museums and Heritage Department at Dasara Exhibition Grounds at 11 am tomorrow.

About the artist: C.S. Krishna Setty, a well-known artist and art critic, studied Art at University College of Art, Davanagere. He is the first artist to become both Chairman and Administrator of Central Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi.

He was also the Chairman of Karnataka Lalitakala Academy. A Rajyotsava awardee, he has won many other awards too.

The expo, organised in association with Kalaniketana School of Art, Ravivarma Art Institute and Kannada and Culture Department, expo is open to members of the public. For details, call Mob: 97434-41878.
