January 22, 2018

Mysuru: The City Police have intensified the probe into the case where 13 human skulls were found dumped at vacant site in Vijayanagar second stage on Friday. The jurisdictional Vijayanagar Police who had visited the spot, sent the skulls to the Regional Forensic Laboratory in city for examination.

The Police, who are anticipating a report from the Forensic Laboratory in this regard, are retrieving images from CCTV Cameras installed in the surroundings of the site. The Police are probing the case from all angles, even as the people suspect that the skulls may have been found while digging foundation for structures or some medical colleges may have dumped them or even it can be an act of  black magic.

Vijayanagar Police said, if the skulls were older than 20 years, then it will be difficult for them to trace their origin. Some experts have suggested that the skulls must be sent to the Archaeological Survey of India for preservation, the Police added.
