Madikeri:  A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team which is probing the suicidal death of Dy.SP M.K. Ganapathy, who was found hanging at a lodge in Madikeri on July.7, 2016, has intensified investigation in the case.

The five-member CBI team, headed by Additional SP Kalaimani and Inspector Dilip, who arrived in the Town on Friday, is said to have visited the studio of the local news channel to which Dy.SP M.K. Ganapathy gave an interview, hours before his death and later questioned Gopal Somaiah, reporter of a State-level news channel and cameraman Surjit about the incident, it is learnt.
