Mysuru: Effecting another major reshuffle in the middle level category of the Police force, the State Government on Monday transferred 19 Deputy Superintendents of Police (Dy.SP) and 51 Police Inspectors across the State.
Mysuru Traffic ACP G.N. Mohan has been transferred and posted as Dy.SP – State Intelligence and S.N. Sandesh, who was serving in CID replaces him. Devaraja Sub-Division ACP Gajendra Prasad has been transferred to Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) and M.N. Shashidhar, who was serving as Dy.SP at Sakleshpur has been posted in his place. Srirangapatna Dy.SP Yogendranath has been shunted out to DCRB,Mysuru and Arun Nagegowda, who was serving in the Lokayukta, has been appointed in his place.
In a swapping of postings, Nanjangud Dy.SP C. Malik has been transferred to KPA at Mysuru and Prabhakar Rao Shinde who was in KPA, has replaced Malik.
N.R. Police inspector B. Basavaraj has been transferred to Siddarthanagar Traffic Police Station in place of Aruna Kumari who has been posted to Karnataka Lokayukta.
ACB Inspector G. Shekar has been posted as N.R. Inspector, while Mysuru Rural Police Inspector Kareem Rautar has been transferred to ACB (Anti-corruption Bureau). K. Jeevan who was serving in State intelligence has been posted as the new Mysuru Rural Inspector, while N.G. Krishnappa, who was awaiting posting, has been posted to CCB (City Crime Branch) in Mysuru.
