Mysuru: The Department of Periodontology, JSS Dental College and Hospital, had organised an e-poster competition  recently to enhance the knowledge of students and to prepare them for presentation at conferences.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sahith Shetty. Principal Dr. G. Anil Kumar, Dr. Jaishankar, Dr. Avinash and  Monica Path, Product Manager of Micro Lab, JSS Dental College were present on the occasion.

The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. Avinash and judged by Dr. Sahith Shetty and Dr. Jaishankar.  The topics were: Antibiotics – Current and future trends; Management of acute dental pain. In all, there were 16 participants.

The prizes were won by  Dr. Mudit Kumar (I), Dr. Anu Anil (II), Dr. Minu Vijay Doiphode (III) and consolation prize was won by Varun Shankar, a final year student.
