Mysore/Mysuru: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has decided to continue teaching and teaching  posts under the Samagra Shiksha Yojana, for the coming academic year too.

The State Planning Director had appealed the Government to continue with a total of  15,531 teaching  and other  posts  and 1,444 non-teaching posts under the Samagra  Shiksha Yojana for the coming academic year too. The appointment to non-teaching  posts were made under DPEP, Contract  and Outsourced basis.

Following the appeal, the Government has given nod for continuance of posts for the upcoming academic year. 

The Under Secretary to the Department of Primary and Secondary Education S.R.S. Nathan has issued an order to this effect.
