Mysore/Mysuru: The Managing Committee of Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road has organised Jashne Eid Meelad-un-Nabhi celebration, as part of the birthday of Prophet Muhammed on Oct. 19 evening after Salath Maqrib up to Esha Salath prayers.

The celebrations will be held under the Chairmanship of Sir Khazi of Mysuru Mohammed Usman Shariff. Principal of Azam Arabic College Markaz Ahle Sunnath-wo-Jamath Hazarath Moulana Mufti Mohammed Shamshul Huda Chisty and Principal of Jamiya Tippu Arabic College at Srirangapatna Hazarath Moulana Mufti Sajjad Hussain Khan Misbahi Razvi will speak.

Narasimharaja Constituency MLA and Chairman of Tipu Sultan Wakf Estate, Srirangapatna, Tanveer Sait will be the chief guest.

Isha Salath prayers will be held at the Masjid at 9.30 pm followed by prayers for eradication of COVID-19. Devotees are urged to follow COVID guidelines by wearing face mask and follow social distancing, according to a press release from the President, Secretary and members of the Managing Committee of Masjid-e-Azam.
