Mysuru: Central Meelad Committee has organised a grand function at 6.15 pm after Namaz-e-Maghrib at Meelad Bagh, Ashoka Road, this evening to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed.

Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazrath Maulana Mohamed Usman Shariff will preside over the event. Hazrath Moulana Tahir Hussain Saheb Rishadi, Benglauru, All India Milli Council, Mysore District Unit President Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Zaka Ulla Siddiqui, Hazrath Moulana Syed Shahabuddin, Hazrath Maulana Mohamed Jaffer Saheb Siddiqui will be present.

Janab Riaz Ahmed Saheb, Hon. Secretary, Board of Islamic Education will speak on the Teaching and Life of Prophet Mohamed on the occasion.

Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait will also be present. The function will feature a grand procession from Milad Bagh to Dr. Zakir  Hussain Cirlcle.
