Mysore/Mysuru: An elderly man, shocked over bee attack, collapsed and died at Vidyaranyapuram here on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Sadashivappa (70), a resident of Vidyaranyapuram.

Sadashivappa, who was working as a security guard at Chamundivana in Chamundipuram, was suddenly attacked by a swarm of bees at about 3 pm.

It is learnt that Sadashivappa died of shock. His family members have told the Police that he had died of shock after the bees attacked him.
