Elderly woman relieved of gold chain

Mysore/Mysuru: Scooter-borne miscreants have managed to snatch the gold chain of an elderly woman near the arch of Annapoorneshwari Temple in Hebbal 1st Stage on June 27 night.

The elderly woman, who lost her gold chain, is 62-year-old Parvathi, a resident of the locality. She was returning home after purchasing vegetables from a pushcart vendor on SBI Main Road at about 8.45 pm, when two miscreants, who came on a black scooter, yanked off her 50 grams gold chain and sped away.

A case has been registered at Hebbal Police Station.
