Mysuru: The following eight candidates have been declared elected as the Members of Mysore Race Club (MRC) during the Membership elections held at MRC yesterday:

Vishnu Das V. Ranga – 185 votes; D. Sanjeev Basappa – 163; Dr. H.V. Santhrupth – 148; Dr. Sahas Nithyanand – 138; Nikhil Reddy – 133; Rajeev J. Krishnan – 133; N. Swaroop Kumar – 132 and M.M. Vignesh – 126.

Election was held between  10 am and 5.30 pm.

A total of 13 members had contested in the elections which was held for the 8 vacancies. A total of 209 ballot papers were polled.
