Mysore/Mysuru: The following six candidates have been declared elected as the Members of Mysore Race Club (MRC) Ltd. during the Membership elections held at MRC here yesterday:

Nakul Kiran (144 votes); Anutham Shankar Urs (133 votes); G. Vajra (131 votes); M.R. Bharath (125 votes); Dr. Akshay B. Kushavar (124 votes) and Dr. M.R. Aiyappa (111 votes). Election was held between 10 am and 5.30 pm.

A total of 11 members had contested in the elections, which was held for the 6 vacancies. A total of 205 ballot papers were polled among which two were declared invalid.
