Elected Directors

The following were elected to the Board of Directors of the city’s The Graduates Co-operative Bank in the elections held on Jan. 21 — R. Anantaramu (1,275 votes), N. Srinivas (1,241 votes), Prof. P.V. Narahari (1,184), T.S. Ravishankar (1,180), M.A. Hemalatha  (1,179), K.G. Satish (1,099), S.N. Jagadish (1,077), all from General Category seats, K.V. Lakshmidevi (1,056) and Sujatha Srinivas Rao (988) from women’s reserved seat, C. Kamalamma (1,006) from Backward Class category A seat, L. Somanna (790) from Backward class B Category seat, Sujatha Venkataraju (elected unopposed) from SC reserved seat  and R. Varalakshmi from ST Reserved seat (elected unopposed). A total of 1,748 out of 3,460 eligible members of the Bank had cast their votes.
