Chamarajanagar: M.E. Manjunath was elected as President and Veerabhadrappa as Vice-President of Chamarajanagar Taluk Journalists Housing Co-operative Society in the elections held here yesterday.

The two were declared elected unopposed as they were the only ones who filed nomination papers. Padmanabha was the Returning Officer.

Speaking on the occasion, Chamarajanagar District Journalists Association President Siddalingaswamy said that the Assn. would extend full co-operation to the Society. He appealed the Society office-bearers to make honest efforts for allotment of sites to Journalists.

Society Directors R.M. Lingappa, C. Mahendra, Veerabhadra Nayak, Kagalawadi Basavanna, R. Rajendra, Y.K. Mole Basavaraju, Hosur Raju, Ramasamudra Babu and M.G. Srikanth were present.
