Electric vehicle charging point needed atop Chamundi Hill

October 28, 2021

Sir,

Many tourists from Bengaluru visit Mysuru in electric vehicles but they skip visiting Chamundi Hill due to fear of losing range driving uphill and downhill.

If the temple authorities open  a paid electric car charging point in Chamundi Hill, it will be convenient for many devotees.

Also electric charging points can be opened at all tourist places across Mysuru. Infrastructure could be taken care of by the existing parking ticket collectors. This initiative would be great for a city like Mysuru.
