Mysore/Mysuru: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) – Admission and Advancement Committee, USA, has elevated Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde to the grade of IEEE Senior Member recently. 

IEEE Senior Membership is an honour bestowed only to those who have made significant contributions to the profession. Senior Member is the highest grade for which IEEE Member can be elevated. IEEE Senior Member can benefit with lot of opportunities including Recognition, Leadership Eligibility and Executive Member of Review Panel. Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde is currently working at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
