Eleven unclaimed dead bodies seek identity

These bodies were found in various Police limits in city during January and February

Mysore/Mysuru: With no one to claim, 11 unidentified dead bodies are now looking for their identities at the MMC&RI mortuary in city. These 11 bodies were found in various Police limits in city during January and February-2020. The details of unidentified bodies are as follows:

Ashokapuram Police Station (Ph: 0821-2418321)

Ashokapuram Police had admitted an unidentified man to K.R. Hospital after he was found lying sick near Railway Workshop on Manandavadi Road on Jan. 18 who breathed his last at the hospital later. Police had registered a case (UDR No: 03/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The unidentified man is said to be 70-year-old, 5.5 ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, oval faced, normal built, has a mole on the left portion of his chest and was wearing a blue colour T-shirt.

Devaraja Police Station (Ph: 0821-2418306)

A 75-year-old unidentified man, who was  found lying sick on the footpath of N.S. Road on Feb.14 by Devaraja Police and admitted to K.R. Hospital, has died at the hospital. A case (UDR No: 05/20) was registered before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The deceased is 5.4ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, oval faced, normal built, has a mole on the right side of his stomach and was wearing a red colour T-shirt.

In another case, a 60-year-old unidentified man, who was admitted to K.R. Hospital by the Police on Feb.16, has died at the hospital. He was lying sick on the footpath of Devaraja Urs Road, when the Police found him.

He is 5.4 ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, oval faced, normal built, has a mark near his left cheek and was wearing a sweater, full arm shirt. 

The Police have registered a case (UDR No: 4/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

In the third case, the Police, on Feb.21, found a body of an unidentified man aged between 60 and 65 years lying on Devaraja Urs Road and have registered a case (UDR No: 06/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The deceased is 5.4 ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, oval faced, normal built, has an old wound mark, disabled left leg and was found wearing a black and green sweater.

In the fourth case, the Police, who found a body of an unidentified man aged about 50 years in front of the Department of Psychiatry of K.R. Hospital on Feb.22, have registered a case (UDR No: 07/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The deceased is 5.5 ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, oval faced, normal built, left leg bandaged from ankle to thigh and was wearing a white colour half arm shirt and cream colour pant.

Mandi Police Station (Ph: 0821-2418313)

Mandi Police had admitted an unidentified man to K.R. Hospital after he was found lying on the footpath of Sayyaji Rao Road on Feb.7 who breathed his last recently. 

The deceased is aged about 60 years, 5.5 ft. tall, thin built, oily red complexioned, has a mark on his right thigh and was wearing a blue and white colour checks half arm shirt. The Police have registered a case (UDR No: 06/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

In the second case, an unidentified woman, who was shifted to K.R. Hospital after she was found lying sick on the footpath of Sayyaji Rao Road on Feb. 21 by the Police, has breathed her last at the hospital. A case (UDR No: 08/20) has been registered by the Police before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The deceased is aged about 85 years, 5.3 ft. tall, round faced, oily red complexioned, thin built, has tattoos of flowers on the right and left forearm and was wearing a gown.

In the third case, the Police, who found the dead body of an unidentified man aged between 65 and 70 years inside the MCC Park next to D&K Petrol Bunk on Feb.22, have registered a case (UDR No: 09/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The deceased is oily red complexioned, oval faced, thin built and was wearing a striped full arm shirt and blue pant.

Hebbal Police Station (Ph: 0821-2418318)

Hebbal Police had admitted an unidentified man aged between 40 and 45 years to K.R. Hospital after he was found lying unconscious in front of Sheshadripuram College on the Ring Road on Feb.3 who has breathed his last at the hospital. 

The Police have registered a case (UDR No: 04/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The deceased is 5.5 ft. tall, oval faced, normal built, was found wearing brass and copper bangles on his right hand, a wrist watch with black straps on his left hand and was wearing a black and white mixed colour T-shirt and khaki colour pant.

V.V. Puram Police Station (Ph: 0821-2418314)

V.V. Puram Police, who had found a dead body of an unidentified man aged about 70 years inside the compound of Celluric Ceramics in the Industrial Area on Feb.8, have registered a case (UDR No. 01/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary.

The deceased is 5 ft. tall, oily red complexioned, oval faced, bald, normal built and was wearing a cream coloured pant and white shirt. 

Narasimharaja (NR) Police Station (Ph: 0821-2418312)

NR Police on Feb.23 have found a body of an unidentified man aged between 40 and 45 years on the footpath next to the LIC building and have registered a case (UDR No: 5/20) before shifting the body to the mortuary. The deceased is 5.5 ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, oval faced, normal built, has a mole on the right side of his rib cage and was wearing a blue shirt and grey pant.
